Secondly They will be delayed by an extra week in selecting the mods here interpersonal.meta.stackexchange.com/a/220/57 Whereas the SO election will finish 1st August. It should be done and dusted before they've finalised these. I'm thinking I might withdraw my nomination here and focus on SO | |

Perhaps they will speak up later, or perhaps not. With what I seem to recall, you should have the tools you need. Concentrate on helping others that are ready, and allow those not ready to have their private thrills that don't really matter anyway. Lyrics of a song I like has it's not my style to worry 'bout something when something may be something thats nothing at all. | |

And yes, online communication and the very nature of this site - plus we're flooded with programmers, who have a reputation for not always being the best socially -whether or not that's a truism, I know it's true for me | |

I realize that SE uses votes for a first line of defense at moderation, and that users of this site are likely to be extra sensitive to vote results. One of the big challenges for mods of this site will be rising above the vote sensitivity. Many of us are here because we know we have some social skills problems, but knowing that may not some of us from proving it in little ways while we're here. From my own observations and readings here, I really believe that you (and HDE) can rise to the challenge. | |
